Yes it’s true. Your child can attend to many other places this summer, but only The Sippy Cup Place will challenge your child’s mind like no other program out there. Not only your child will be learning through art but will have lots of fun as they take part in amazing outings.  Select the weeks your child will be attending, relax and let us do the rest. ____July 9-13 Building a Mobile Robot- Let’s enhance your child thinking process, imagination and creativity by giving them recycled materials in other to create an amazing robot! We can visit MIT museum as a source of inspiration, along with other create outings.

 

____July 17-20 A Buggy Week- Let’s go to the Museum of Science, local parks and ponds to learn about bugs and the ecosystem! Children will create out a pretend food chain environment field with lots of cool creatures! Lot’s of fun for sure!!!

 

____July 24-27 How to Make Your Very Own Sidewalk Chalk? - Have you and your child ever wonder how chalk is made? Perhaps your child would enjoy creating his own!

We can design all kinds of colors and shapes to enjoy throughout the summer. Best of all your child can show how smart he is by teaching everyone how is chalk made!!! Plus, yes...we are going out on outings too.

 

____July 31-August 3 Crazy Balancing Toys- How can a toy balance itself in on a thin rope or a bottle? Can gravity help in this particular situation :-) ?  Well let’s find out! Let’s build some crazy toys and have fun with them too!  Also let’s visit local many local parks, museums and maybe do some island hoping such as Georges Island and others.

 

___August 5-10 Can Your Child Build a Motor?-Let’s do some experiments with some small batteries, thin wires, tape, paper clips and other coo coo materials! Don’t worry, it’s all responsible, age appropriate art, but super creative, smart and fun!!! Maybe we can go to the Museum of Science and see the electric show along with other cool places!

 

___August 14-17 Fan-tastic!- Do you think your child can build his own hand powered fan with a few recycled materials? Well, it’s true! We can teach them how. Best of all, not only your child will enjoy this creation, but it will keep him cool on a hot day at the beach. Maybe we can add a little mist to the equation!!! And yes, as always outings will be available.

 

___August 21-24 My Crazy Light Bulb Sculpture-Okay, maybe the light bulb when out and it’s no longer working, but that doesn’t mean it’s garbage. Perhaps we can build something super crazy and Experi-Ment a thing or two with them! So lets save our environment and have fun creating a crazy, well lighted sculpture, that is fun and smart!!! By the way, we will be visiting local parks and the aquarium just to break things up!

 

___August 28-31 My Very Own Sand Clock-Sand time clocks measures the passage of a minute or an hour of time by allowing a slow release of sand from one container to the other. Perhaps your scientist can build an amazingly accurate sand clock. And since it’s our final week maybe we can do a special outing that your entire family can join us!

 

Important: Child must be age 5 and up to participate. Parents are resposible for lunch, snacks and all beverages. Sunblock, hats, and sneakers required. (No sandals please)

 

Cost: $235 a week

Minimum non refundable deposit: $100 per week
